This Policy applies to information we collect:

1. On the website mce.motu.art;
2. Through the MotuArt Color Engine API;
3. Via email, support tickets, or other electronic communications with us.

This Policy does not apply to information collected offline; information collected separately by other websites/products operated by LANMOON PTE. LTD.; or information collected by third parties (e.g. downstream applications that integrate our API), which is governed by that third party's own privacy policy.

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we inadvertently obtain such information, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at hi@motu.art if you believe a minor is using the Service.

We collect the following categories of information:

1. Photos you upload and processing results: the source images used to generate color-corrected/stylized output, and the resulting output images.
   • Photos are temporarily used by the image-processing pipeline (person/skin segmentation, color mapping, quality scoring).
   • Web demo requests are typically retained for the session to allow preview/download and then cleared per our internal retention practice; API callers may agree to a retention window or delete retrieved outputs themselves.
2. Account and identity information (if applicable): if the Service offers registration or API-key issuance, this may include your name and email address.
3. Usage and device information: IP address, browser/client type, operating system, request timestamps, endpoints called, and processing duration — used for troubleshooting, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
4. Cookies and local storage: used for basic functionality such as remembering your language preference (zh/en); not used for cross-site ad tracking.

• Perform the image processing you request and return the output to you.
• Maintain, debug, and improve the engine's stability and processing quality (e.g. offline quality evaluation, incident troubleshooting).
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• Communicate with you about service changes or security incidents when necessary.

• We do not use your photos to train unrelated third-party products or publicly released general-purpose models.
• We do not sell your personal information or photos.
• We do not use your photos in advertising or marketing materials unless you give explicit consent.

• Aggregated, non-identifiable statistical information may be used or disclosed without restriction.
• Personal information may be disclosed to:
  • service providers bound by confidentiality obligations who help us provide infrastructure (e.g. cloud hosting, log storage);
  • a successor entity in the event of a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition);
  • regulators or law-enforcement authorities where required to comply with a legal obligation;
  • other third parties with your consent.

Uploaded photos and generated output images are retained only for as long as needed to provide the Service, troubleshoot issues, and meet necessary compliance purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized per our internal retention practice. Technical log data is kept for a shorter period for security and abuse-prevention purposes and is then cleared or aggregated.

• Cookies: you can block cookies via your browser settings, though this may affect basic functionality such as remembering your language preference.
• Access, correction, deletion: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting hi@motu.art. We aim to respond within 45 days.
• Withdrawing consent: where processing is based on your consent, you may contact us to withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before that point.

• We use measures such as encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and data-minimization retention to protect your data.
• You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential.
• Internet transmissions carry inherent risk; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this Policy will be posted on the Website. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you through the contact details you have provided, where available. Please review this page periodically for updates.
